Dear
Mohammad:
After watching your actions and the responses to them
first-hand, I realize that you don't need our compliments. Nonetheless,
we can't help but express our views.
Over the years, I have attended a lot of conferences and meetings. But I must tell you that yours is one of a kind. Things were first-rate: the people, the presentations, food and lodging and the general help. You have the right focus: the students. After all, it's all about them. You have a way of finding talents. Their enthusiasm and desire and their presentations warmed my feelings. It's heartening to see how much reputation and goodwill you have earned. On an individual level, one can buy loyalty, but one can't buy goodwill. We were also amazed by the sharpness of your mind: You remember everybody’s names and positions. I appreciate how much you are doing to advance education and to shape young minds.
Fazlur Rahman, MD, Competition Judge, Texas.
Dr. Bhuiyan.
I must say that the Innovation and Entrepreneurship program
for HBCUs was the most intellectually, academically beneficial, and relevant
conference I have ever attended in my 35+ years in higher education, including
over 25 years in business schools. The sessions in innovation
commercialization were especially interesting, and the conversations I had with
business and military leaders were extremely stimulating. As the
conference progressed, I could see the minds and imaginations of my students
expanding.
I am especially impressed with the way the conference was
handled, with respect and politeness at all times, while keeping everyone
involved in as many activities as possible. While the Alcorn team did not make
it to the second round, the feedback from the judges was very helpful and right
on target. The students and I benefited greatly from the competition and
the advice.
I am still recovering for the outstanding experience that
you provided to all of us.
Thank you!

University
Dear Dr. Bhuiyan,
On behalf of our students and faculty advisors,
I want to express my sincere appreciation for giving us this wonderful
opportunity. This was the first visit for our team, and they were
impressed with all aspects of the conference - the set-up, hotel, meals, and
above all the professionalism that was demonstrated by you and your entire
team. I believe that we all learned a great deal by participating in the
Business Plan Competition and we are confident that next year we will be much
stronger.
Please let me know when you visit New Orleans
next time - I would love to meet with you.
Best regards,
